Show Notes Transcript

In this episode of Marketing in Other Markets, Matt Muscat introduces a new name for the podcast: The Neighborhood Realtor!

The Realtors interviewed on this podcast have reiterated time and time again that cultivating relationships and digging deep into your community is the most important part of building a successful business in real estate. Our new name has been forged from dozens of conversations, to better reflect the intention of this real estate podcast.

It remains our goal to share tangible, actionable tips for real estate agents, far and wide!

Without further ado, The Neighborhood Realtor is proudly sponsored by Treadstone Funding and Neighborhood Loans. For more tangible tips in real estate marketing, check out Matt's book, The Tangible Action Guide for Real Estate Marketing available on Amazon.

Hey everybody, thanks for tuning in. I have some super exciting news to share today. You know, we've done 30 plus podcasts. We've been able to interview some of the top real estate agents and mortgage professionals in the country and in a couple other countries. What we're doing is we're changing the name of the podcast to better reflect the concept on the show.

So previously we were Marketing in Other Markets. And the reason for that is that we were interviewing agents all across the all across the country and trying to figure out what was working in different areas. We're now rebranding and we're going to be called drum roll, please. The Neighborhood Realtor. And the reason we chose that is a lot of the strategies that we've chosen to focus on and the types of agents we've chosen to interview are really people with deep community ties who are going deep in their sphere of influence, who are doing marketing the old fashioned way, and who are really making it work for them.

It's kind of a quality of life piece, especially for a lot of the agents we interview, but also for from what we've heard from listeners. That's what most of them want to build their business. We're not talking about crazy, flashy social media techniques and weird ways to generate online leads on the internet. What we want to do is really be clear and concise with our brand, our messaging, and double down on our promise to bring you quality content from people doing business in a way that we think you can look up to. And of course, we're still going to be holding true to our promise of delivering one tangible tip that you can use for sales or marketing in every episode.

So over the next over the next couple of weeks, you're going to start to see both the old branding and the new branding just to get your brain used to it. You're also going to start to hear the new intro, which we're super excited for. And of course, we have a couple of new sponsors that we were really excited to bring on board. So if anyone has any questions as ideas for guests we could have on the show, please reach out to me directly to let me know. You can hit me up.

And of course, as a huge, huge, huge favor, I would love it if everybody could go onto their podcast store right now and leave Marketing in Other Markets, or if the new name is updated yet, the Neighborhood Realtor, please leave us a five star review with a description. It really helps the show to do better and reach more quality presenters, but also audience members. So again, thanks everybody.
